Damn, you don't get many words in this format. Anyway, I paid $2490 for the Hummer, but I liked it WAY better than the Martin D24, D28 & D36, which were quite a bit more. What are your thoughts on that?

The Hummer was a gift to myself for enduring the divorce. I pain $900 for the Les Paul, $1350 for Lucille, $950 for the Strat, $200 for the Ovation w/case, and $169 for the Charvel. I forget what the Steinberger cost, but it was less than $150. I think can better most of those prices on eBay, but I won't try anytime soon, I love them all. Oh, I got 15% off ...

That's funny. For years, my coworkers called me "Gibby". Thanks, I don't have as many as some people, but I think I'm about done collecting. I need to learn to play better, and these are FAR better guitars than I am a player. My chief criteria for buying them was "can I get more out of them than I paid?", or "can I really consider this an investment?" Exc...
