Yes, the Guitar in its Case! What? ...hehe
I know. 69% too high. I am getting the hang of this humidity thing. I never thought about it until I got a "nice" guitar.
Ok, I will try that Humidity pack device. I have heard about that.
One thing: make up your minds...D'Adario or Planet Waves>?
Thanks - j
One in the same, just different packaging..and actually manufactured by Boveda

69% is too high. You should be around 45-50%.
Are you keeping the guitar in it's case?
Get yourself the planet waves Humidipak, they work great at adding and taking away humidity. I have them in all my acoustic guitar cases. Never an issue

Yep, your battery will be drained after a week. or at least a lot lower than it should be. Makes no difference what the other end of the lead is plugged into.

Local store has a 415W in Sunburst as well as a 415CEX in Natural. Both play and sound nice, the CEX a little better to my ears. No reference on Gibson's site to the CEX differences against W. Both Walnut and look the same. Turns out it is the internal bracing. The W has X bracing AJ style (forward shifted like J35 I would assume) where as the CEX has J45 style bracing.

The price Andertons has the 635W on for at the moment is very good(and it includes taxes). With current exchange rates that comes in 1534US$. That's close to $300 cheaper than Sweetwater are selling it for.

I've actually played the 415W, 635W, 665SB and the 735R. Out of them all I liked the 665W the best. Quality wise for fit and finish was as good as any of the regular production Gibsons I have played. The sound of the 665W was the best too and I personally think it looked the best. If I were in the market for a cutaway around that price bracket I'd pick it over a Taylor I think.
My local store actually has one at the moment in Sunburst. Looks nice. Odd though I've searched around online and found no one else with a Sunburst version. (He also has a Sunburst J15 with looks fantastic).

Oh! For some reason I thought the Canadian dollar was up on the USD. Don't know why I thought that. Do you get a lifetime warranty in Canada? Maybe that's how it's technically cheaper.
Maybe I should drive up to Canada to buy my SJ. On second thought, I don't think I want to drive up to Canada in December.
He's being sarcastic there Jesse_Dylan. I wouldn't advise coming up here to buy a Guitar! Current exchange rate based on Sweetwaters $1500 US would be $1950 + shipping + 13% (Ontario). Not the best time to buy a Gibson in Canada. Oh and no warranty from Gibson here in Canada. It's the distributor, Yorkville who give a years Warranty.

I've had one since March this year and gigged it quite a lot. Great tone and its opening up more and more. No problems with nose diving when standing up. I'm surprised Gibson have not put the price of these up. Here in Canada the J35 is close now to $2000Cdn, it started at $1500. The J15 is now around $1700. Personally I prefer the 15 over the 35. But I love all Gibson acoustics so who am I kidding!

Hi Guys. In Canada here. Long time player both Acoustic & Electric. Been using a 2012 Southern Jumbo, which I love, for live performances and just added a J15 to my collection. Posted a new thread about this guitar. Cheers.

Not sure where in NY the OP is, but here in Southern Ontario,Canada the temperature has dropped this morning to -8 deg C, feeling like -13 deg C with the windchill.
I always keep my guitars, both Electric and Acoustic, in their cases (as much as I would like to keep them out on display and quick reach)with the humipaks in the cases and a constant room temperature in the colder / winter months. I also have a in room humidifier as my finished basement is very dry.
