I was shocked at the lack of demand for my TV. It was on Reverb and Denver Craigslist for 2 weeks @ $3000. Nothing, not even a message. Not at all about the guitar, it's that demand has dried up.
Great market though for the few buyers around.

She was a Jersey girl
Who went out west
And came home again
Loving both the best
Wherever she lived
Always stayed True
If you're lucky enough
She might stay with you

Frets show very minimal wear.
And yes, Sal and I have been moving this one back and forth for a couple years. I finally decided I play the wider nuts much better. I wish this one had the neck of the Custom Historic SJ that was in house for a while.
I like the Cali case, but this is my first experience with the Hiscox and it is much lighter, very nice.

Some of you may recognize this monster TV.
A fabulous J45 on all fronts ... Tone, looks and playability. Excellent+ condition.
A real gem, but I play the wider nuts significantly better ... so here we go.

Otis Redding died before he could record "To Love Somebody" but the Bee Gees wrote it for him.

FULL MARKS!
This is just wonderful, Dave.

I played all three of the Gs when they came out. Thought the 00 had a chance. The 200 sounded pretty good but I thought it was considerably overpriced at $2K. Wildwood Guitars has finished up a year and a half run where every J200 they got in sold immediately. . They have had three G200s this whole time they got in when model was first released. I don't think they have sold a single one. I expect this line to disappear.

I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

Always enjoyed your acoustic interpretations. Following your bliss is always encouraged.
That blue TX guitar was a cool rig.
Cheers.

I would match my favorite neck with my favorite tone. True Vintage + the neck of the current Custom Historic 1942 SJ with 1.77 nut.
I do like the dry tone of the 40s and think the current baked tops do a good job of recreating that. Personal preference for the smooth rich tone of the TV.

Handsome group.
Thought hey I've got deep pockets but alas, no, they are just shallow pockets with holes at the bottom.

Like this one a lot David. I am stunned by how much this sounds like it could have been a Terry Allen song ...

Like this a lot! Effortless, confident delivery of a very cool song.

yea, like said, whole house is great if you can manage it. in my house, it'd be very difficult to achieve.
I use a big honking floor standing humidifier. It runs most of the time in the drier months. A lot of folks wouldn't care for the noise but it functions as an effective mask for my tinnitus.

Nice, Roger. I do recall playing a new one of these in that era and that it really stood out ... a very sweet tone. That was before knowing I needed more than one guitar.

Cases and sound hole humidifiers are the way
Well it is certainly one way.
I hang all my guitars in a room humidified to 42%. It's been 10 years with no buzzes or a single truss rod tweak. So that's another way.

Played all 3 ... did not care for the 00, sounded like a cheap guitar. Liked the 45 and 200 but the price of the 200 was too high imo. The 45 seemed like a good value. The port was a twist but I would like to hear them with the hole plugged.
Sgt Pepper has always enjoyed taking dumps on the porch here it's his thing.

No secret that supply is down, but ... wow ... two years ago Wildwood Guitars had 48 J200s in stock. Today, one.

I seriously considered ordering one. Priced out A DF with ivoroid fretboard binding, 1 3/4 nut. In the end it was the $500 upcharge for a slothead that made the price not work. That was the only way to make that headstock go away and it made the very attractive price go away too.

That tells me more than watching 100 Greg Koch demos. Really nice.
