  1. Hi Fossil, I am looking to purchase an FT-155 and wonder if you still have yours and willing to sell?

    Thanks,

    Anthony

  2. Hi Sam, After closer inspection of the pictures you sent the action does look quite high and what I was looking for originally and happens with bolt on necks. Also, the frets look quite worn on the top part of the neck on E,B,G strings which would mean a refret that is costly. I am going to pass as the cost is just too great with shipping and price you are asking. Thanks again and good luck...

  3. Got em thanks again!

  4. Ha you go me on that one! :) if easier, you can send to me on my phone at 1-267-884-6734. Or email at ajd711@verizon.net. Thanks again and have a good night. Please ping me when you want to continue communication.

  5. Absolutely and thanks so much for your consideration and hospitality over these communications. Sometimes, I forget the time zone!. When you feel free please send me some of the pics you mention along with a side picture of the fret board and strings so I can gauge the height of the action. That means the most to me at this point. Talk later! email is ajd711@verizon.net

  6. Thanks Sam and think 300 is fair for the condition per your auction description and pictures. I can also save you fees if you go through paypal directly, so that can help too. Thoughts please?

  7. Ahh I did not see that. Well I am most definitely interested and can prepay the shipping for UPS to pickup at your home as long as its packaged. Please let me know what you would like to do as I can tell you that it would go to my good home.

  8. okay looks like it has been bidded on from what i see. congratulations and good luck to you. very nice communicating with you!

  9. Great checking into it now. UPS said they can pick it up and I would prepay for it. So I am good with this option as well.

  10. If I could get UPS or FedEx to pick up at your home would that work. It will cost me more but don't mind if price is right for guitar.

  11. Totally understand. Very nice communicating with you and appreciate your time. Good luck and if for any reason things change, please let me know as we could use UPS or Fed Ex. Anthony

  12. Just called USPS International customer service and they told me it would have to be you who works with the local USPS International Office to ship to me. The package would have to be in a box that holds the guitar and case. You would then bill me the shipping fees. I don't know if you are willing to do all that. But thought I would let you know the option.

  13. I think the way it would work is that you would have to pack in guitar box with bubble wrap and then I would have to arrange for pickup to your home by USPS International. Or you can use USPS International and charge me the shipping.

  14. If I bid on the auction and win. I would setup shipping to US.

  15. Another question, if I make the bid would you accept it?

  16. Hi Sam, Sounds good. If it does not work out please let me know and we can see if something can be worked out. All the best, Anthony

  17. Hi Sam, hope all is well. Touching base to see if any movement on your FT150 for sale. Please let me know if still available? Thanks, Anthony

  18. Very nice. Will keep an eye on your auction and feel free to contact me for anything. Thanks again!

  19. What type of music on piano? Classical? Jazz?

  20. Yes an affordable Gibson with lower standards of production. They were also unreliable and this can be researched. That is why I asked about the neck and action. I mainly play rock and blues music. I am a fanatic about 60's/70's era but play original as well. You?

  21. So in nutshell, one can get a nicely made vintage guitar, cheaply with aged spruce/rosewood that sounds very nice to the professional guitar player.

  22. I wouldn't say that the guitar is revered as much there are many acoustics that are much better and why they go so cheaply. If I could afford a FT-79 Texan then I would buy that any day of the week. The lower end Epiphones are affordable period and are nicely made guitars but at the time were considered the low end of the spectrum. Not many artists played them so they were not popular.

  23. You are correct. I had pleasure of playing a FT-150 some time ago and it was gorgeous. Neck with, action, wood tone come first to me then condition. I can deal with nicks and scratches but tonality is king.

  24. Hi Sam,

Yes I am a player and have to many guitars to count but like any other serious player no matter what the instrument, we tend to be quite mental about it all! :) I am monitoring quite a lot of auctions in the US for FT-120 Standards or 145 Texan that go for under $200. I am looking for perfect condition though. The 150 is overall a better sounding guitar and why I am int...

  25. Hi Sam,

I understand and thanks for your consideration. Let me know if you change your mind as I am most definitely interested. I have to consider the amount of shipping as well. I am not a collector and looking for a vintage FT series Spruce/Rosewood in good condition for playing and recording. These guitars usually go for less than $300 and depends on condition.
