Well at first, I thought I would put Kluson or Grover tuners but after changing the strings on the 15th it holds tune very well. So that being said I think I'll keep the Epiphone deluxe. Cheers

My brand new 2014 found at local music store for 300$. Was told it was a demo from Epiphone. It has a perfect tone, body is perfect. No swirl marks or scratches. Brought it home, dusted it off, changed the strings. Buffed it up and boy oh boy what a guitar. I simply love it. Might do some mods. Change the tuners and pups. Any ideas??

It's almost like I had the perfect guitar built just for me. Can't believe how much I love this guitar. No weight relief fat neck, perfect finishing. Can't say enough. Cheers!

My Brand new 2017 Traditional. -
Hello all! This is my first post since my introduction. I had previously purchased a 2016 Les Paul Traditional on the 14th of Feb. When I got home, I had noticed a couple of imperfections. 1: a film residue peeling off the nut.2: a huge imperfection on the 16th fret3: wasn't staying in tune. I brought it back to the music store where it was purchased. I am happy to announce that because of me, that Particular Les Paul has been shipped back to Gibson. The store had a desert burst available. I took a look at it.... it looked as if it had been sitting in a closet for a couple of months. Caked on dust, swirl marks everywhere and it had a couple of dings on it (one in the back and one on the neck). Also it wasn't the colour I wanted. This being said, I took the next big step and ordered a brand new 2017 traditional cherry burst. It took one week for it to arrive. Got it on the 1st of March. I opened up the case ,and it was beautiful. Set up was awesome. It was in tune. The craftsmanship was amazing. It still has a new guitar smell. Lots of case candy as well. I am very happy and pleased to be a brand new les Paul owner. I haven't been able to put the guitar down. My Strat and Tele are put away(out of site, out of mind). I can't get enough of my Gibson Les Paul. Those images are of the 2016 traditional that was sent back.

Hello all! I'm new to the forum and also I am a brand new owner of a Gibson Les Paul traditional 2016. I've been playing Fender for many years, I've never played or owned a Gibson. Now that I have one, I am taken in by the Gibson mystique. However, I have some minor issues that I need some answers from Gibson owners. Staying in tune. I guess with a proper set up this will eliminate the issue? Secondly there is a slight imperfection on the fret board(16th fret 12th) fret and thirdly, there is a paper thin sliver of glue residue or something on the nut. It's peeling off. I've had the guitar in my possession for less than a week. Are these normal for Gibson? Should I get a refund? It's a cherry burst and the only one left is a desert burst. I've included two photos. Cheers!
