  3. G'day Everyone, I recently purchased a Gibson Les Paul Custom 1968 re-issue Guitar. Being new to the Gibson Brand I have tried unsuccessfully to gain positive information on this guitar's serial no anywhere. What I have found is that it may have been a limited series made by the Custom Shop for the Guitar Center. It has an Ebony Fingerboard and what appears to be the slim 60's neck and the pots are not mounted on a plate. The COA lists it as a 68 Gibson F Model - Serial No: 060828 This Guitar is in great condition and I am just trying to establish its footprint in the Gibson evolution. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you Macevoy
