JimR56
Pretty sure this dates to the latter part of 1969. The body is made of laminated maple, with a maple block running down the center of the body. Neck is mahogany. Fretboard is rosewood. As far as value, I would go to ebay and look at sale prices from completed auctions for comparable instruments.
Lorelei007
Hello, I just joined the forum today. My brother, the late Herb Staehr, owned a Gibson ES 345 TD, which was formerly owned by Alvin Lee and played by Alvin Lee at the Isle of Wight Festival in 1970. The guitar was sold at auction at Skinner Auctions in Boston, Massachusetts, on May 4, 2008. Perhaps if you contact the auction house, they can help you value yours. tonilopezv
Thank you all, the guitar was bought in 1971 by a friend. Is there any way to contact gibson in order to send me information? I've tried it by using this page (http://www2.gibson.com/Gibson/Talk-2-Us.aspx) and then this forum.
