I'm looking at a 2006 Les Paul '58 Reissue and he is looking for 2300. It is is excellent shape and has been well cared for. I think its a killer deal however looking for thoughts! Peace! I have seen them sell for as low as $1,800 on eBay. $2,100 - $2,300 is about right. These listed for $3,100 new and often sold in/around $2,500. R8s are great guitars.
