Anyone with links to Crystal Palace mainline (it's just one minute's walk from the station) really should check it out ASAP. I've only been a few times (so far) but the quality of performers has always been stellar. The pub also won a CAMRA award recently for their fantastic range of real ales. http://www.sydenhambluesclub.co.uk/ This Friday sees the rather brilliant Steve Morrison and his Blues Abuse. I'll be there for sure! Here's a clip of the guy; As well as the Blues Club the same place hosts Gypsy-Jazz stuff every Sunday from 2:00pm until 8:00pm and Big Band Jazz on Monday eves.
