flyinpiper Posted July 9, 2013 Share Posted July 9, 2013 Looking at buying a vintage gibson SG. The owner can't give me a date. It looks real, fret wear, had sgs in the past. What is confusing to me, and I can't find any referance to the serial number (100703) which looks to be a 63, but also has "Made in the USA" on the headstock under the serial numbers (not pressed in headstock until 1970's).
