sammypackle
I have a '79 335TD, which has the coil tap switch. I replaced the pickups a long time ago, and the switch was disconnected. The switch tip rubs against the lid of the original case, and has even broken a few times. I'm going to remove the switch altogether. My question is, do any of you know where I could find a plastic plug to cover the hole? Thanks!
retrorod
Not off hand...??!! Does it have to be plastic? I say 'get creative' and do some 'decorative plugging' of your own 'fancy'....
sammypackle
Figured it out. The hole for the switch is half an inch wide. I went to Lowe's and found a black nylon hole plug that did the job for almost nothing. Thanks!
665
I guess nylon won't hurt the nitro, just make sure it's not vinyl or plastic.
