Johnny Rockit
OK maybe this is a dumb question but I have several pickups all with patent stamps on the bottom, some also have tstamps, several from 79 (t tops)have red paint swatches on the cloth lead, another set that came from a 1984 Studio Standard has a red swatch on the neck pickup wire and a yellow swatch on the bridge pickup wire. Was this to designate which was the neck and which was the bridge pickups when wiring or is there some other meaning? Any help to answer this is greatly appreciated!
