Coney
I have an old gibson 4 string and can't seem to find much info about it. There is a serial number on the inside (873 1). Can anyone tell me anything about it?

Jayyj
Gibson have made numerous tenor and plectrum guitars over the years - the common ones are flat top acoustics based on the L-00 and later LG body style, and arch tops based on the L-37 and L-50, but from the '30s through '60s you could custom order most models with a tenor or plectrum neck. If you can post an image I'm sure we can tell you what it is though.
