Pilot
Just talking about the switches - the knobs are obvious. The three-way switch is to select the pickup (or both, when in middle). The one of three small ones, closest to the jack is the Normal/Lead Equalisation. When in on (lower position) it generates a very sharp & bright sound The one in the middle is the Compressor. When on, the sound will cut off in gain, when it goes below the preset threshold. So it does not sustain linear anymore. The most left switch is called Expander. It acts like a boost amplifyier with some distortion on top. Ideal for your lead riff. Both sound knobs are active, btw. E.g. true equalizers. Hope this helps a bit.
