melodymaker'65 Posted February 10, 2014 Author Share Posted February 10, 2014 Does anyone have a 1977 Melody Maker? This is the first time I've seen one, totally cool! I did not know that Gibson made a Melody Maker in 1977. The guitar was sold from 1977-1980, it originally cost $539. The body looks to be similar to the 1962-4 Melody Maker, it has shorter horns than the '65 one. The body also seems to be not as rounded as the 60's Melody Makers. The body shape is somewhat reminiscent of a '59 Les Paul Jr Double Cutaway. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
