Hoya
Hi everyone, I have recently cleaned my 347 and wanted to have a look at the pickups. I was expecting to see the Dirty Fingers however this is what I found in there. Opinions PLEASE!!! Neck ? I'm pretty sure Dirty Fingers are wax potted and have more than one lead. Does the coil tap work on your 347? Bridge
cjsinla
They can't be Dirty Fingers because those pickups have two rows of screws and probably don't ever have covers on them. However, it might be helpful if you could at least tell us what year your guitar is.

Douglas Rogerson
The coil tap works fine and the guitar is made in 1992. I have sent an email to Gibson .. will see
Douglas Rogerson
Got the answer from Gibson, these are '57 Classics. Very nice sounding pups, indeed.
Mr Jay
I have a 79 ES-347. I'm the second owner. Everything about it was fantastic until the Bridge pickup went south. I have a set of DiMarzio DP 260 & 261 to install in it now. After opening her up I found some of the other guts could stand retirement also. So ! I have ordered all new guts from Gibson. I hope that sweet sound is still there after the repairs.
