watermelonkid
Hello, I'm in the process of trying to date an Epiphone EJ-200NA that I picked up while in college in the late 90s. I've checked many threads and used some typical online serial number identifiers, but they've all come up blank. Y211397 It seems to be unique in that there are only 6 digits (everything I read says there will be 7 or 8 after the letter?). Is it possible it's in the Japanese era? I got the guitar in April of 1998, so I know it predates that. Is it possible the first digit being a 2 would mean 1992? 11 for November, and then 397 for the production number? Thanks ahead of time for anyone who might have a clue about this!
