My recently acquired 2001 ES335 Dot Sunburst (body cavity label reads "Gibson USA") came with black "bell" type control knobs. Most pics I've seen of sunburst finished have the amber bell knobs. I know I can purchase replacement knobs but before I do I'd like to know that the factory shipped it with amber knobs. Does anyone happen to know? Thanks. In other words, what it came with and my memory are not the same, so it ain't proof. But yet, I am inclined to think it's the correct knobs, and no reason to wonder otherwise.
