nationalmojo Posted June 22, 2016 Share Posted June 22, 2016 Hi everyone, What are the differences between the 2015 and 2016 iterations of the Memphis 335 '59 Dot VOS Reissue? The Gibson site doesn't seem to make a direct comparison possible. What does the 2016 model have that the 2015 one doesn't? Original 59 335s haven't changed since they were made, yet Gibson seems to discover something more "authentic" to add to the reissues each year. Is this because they didn't do sufficient research in the first place, or is it a cynical marketing/sales ploy to persuade us that our older reissue guitars are not that authentic after all?
