I've just recently become the owner of a Cherry 1990 ES335 and was wondering if anyone has any ideas what pickups these shipped with? Whatever they are they sound absolutely incredible, especially the neck pickup. I've had people say that Gibson used two different types of pickups in 1990 but I've no idea if they are credible or not. Google really doesn't tell me much so hopefully some of you more informed individuals may know something. I will next time it needs a string change pop the pickups out but when strings are $25 in Australia I'll wait until then to do a physical check.
