Mat1965 Posted August 23, 2019 Share Posted August 23, 2019 (edited) Hi everyone, On ebay there is an Epiphone Elite Texan 65 Sunburst being sold from Japan and it looks different than others I have seen. Instead of Grover tuners, it has white button tuners. Additionally, the inner sticker is different. Both features I kind of prefer to be honest. I have not been in the market for a guitar in a while and owned one of the Gibson McCartney unlabeled overruns years ago. I sold it when I needed money, somewhat regrettably. I know the Elite / Elitist are poly but that is ok with me. I have not seen one of the McCartneys listed in a while since I have been on the hunt. I assume this strange Elite model on Ebay is a prototype model rather than modifications / tickerings.
