Mr. Robot
I have heard about this book recently: The Gibson ES-335 : Its Family & Players by Adrian Ingram. Has anyone got or read this book? If so, tell me what do you think? Is it worth the cash? You can see the cover at: http://www.musicroom.com/se/ID_No/0412634/details.html I think there is also another one by the same publisher for the ES 175. Interested in your opinions on that one too. Ken Rayba
I purchased a copy of this book. I enjoyed reading it, if you collect this kind of stuff it is a welcome addition to your collection. It covers mostly the production of the ES 335 and changes it has gone through and how it has influenced other guitar manufacturers. Go to your local book store and see if they have it, browse through it and see if it is what you are interested in. I didn't do that, I ordered it w/o seeing a copy. But I look through it once in awhile since I purchased it!
lpdeluxe
I have Ingram's book, and it would benefit from better photography. He spends a lot of time with other makers' copies, variations, and so on, but it's about the best book on 335s around. He offers a lot of information.
