I figured it might be easier to make different posts for each range of models in order to narrow the search down just a bit. Here's an attempt to help people date their vintage Gibson SG guitars. I see a lot of folks going straight to the serial number, inputing the number in an online site promising accurate results, and getting a wildly inaccurate number.
