Uncle Buckthorn Posted November 20, 2022 Share Posted November 20, 2022 I have one of those in black from the late 80s. Like the neck. Had the bridge block literally shatter to pieces. You can remove the whole unit, take off the saddles and unscrew that broken block. It’s some cheap pot metal of some kind. I bought a solid steel block off Amazon and it bolted right up. They also had brass but I wanted the steel after the previous failure. Never did find a replacement with the two hole spacing I needed to replace the whole bridge but the block repair keeps everything more original anyway. Just make sure you measure everything and check the dimensions on the product before you order. There’s a lot of different blocks out there.
