dot335
I just got a Epiphone Dot Cherry serial verified; built Guitar Info made at the Qingdao Plant (Epiphone), China December 2004 Production Number: 3694. I put Classic 57's in it and took the epi pickups apart. Needless to say I didn't like'em. To my supprise Back of pickup has the standard engraved Epiphone logo on the baseplate with sticker 57CH (G) DOT: Neck,Bridge. LP Neck. BHC., BUT the front of the pickup has BC Rich Stamped on it. The pickups do not apper to have been tamper with. I had to cut the welds with dremel tool to open them up not to damaged them. Any Ideas?

dot335
Sorry, I guess my question was why would the pickup have a Epiphone Baseplate and have B.C. Rich stamped on the front. I had to take the Gold plated cover off and inside where the BC Rich stamped Pick ups with the attached Epiphone baseplate. Any ideas on why this could be? the welds where not cut and the pickups where wax potted. does epi use BC Rich?
