Stv1da
I have just bought a “project amp” that is not in its finest moment. It’s a 1974 G50 that has been converted from 120VAC to be used in the UK, at 240. It seems to have had some work done but has the following issues: A hum, once operated for more than 5 minutes; tremolo and reverb not working. Normal input allows a little play time before the hum but Effects hums immediately. I have stripped it down and am starting to clean it up - cabinet, coasters, etc and then pots, replace capacitors (as suggested please). Any help would be appreciated to restore this beauty to its original state. Thanks, Steve
