The fading of the hummingbird

Hi.

I have played my Hummingbird for nearly two years now and the "birds" head is gone from the pickguard.

I would have loved if Gibson mede the motiv, maybe on the other side of the pickguard.

Is this happening on all birds or is it just mine.

If you've kept up with this forum, you'd see that this has happened in the past, but they think they've got the problem worked out now. If you are the original owner and have registered the warranty, contact an authorized Gibson dealer and see about obtaining a replacement pickguard.

I just registered in here the other day, and I havent filled out the gold warranty, for my Hummingbird.

I didn´t think that it was necessary.

I better send in the warranty for my newly bought Sj-200 Elite Cutom then.

If you're the original owner and still have your receipt, I'd still send in the registration. It might get processed and then again, it might not. It can't hurt to try.

 

And by the way FWIW, the offensive language is a good way to get kicked off this forum. It's happened in the past.

It's up to you, but you may wish to edit your post and remove the profanity from it. It wouldn't change the meaning of your post at all and perhaps you could do it before any of the mods (or many other forum members) see it.
