I agree with Gillian Girl--Thumbs way up on Wichita Lineman, also the other classic Webb/Campbell tune "Galveston." Do them both solo and with my band--I had to lower Galveston to D to pull it off vocally--transposes pretty well. Jimmy Webb's tunes sound so simple and intuitive but what nice (challenging) chords/structure. Last really different tune we worked up was "Our Day Will Come" by Ruby and the Romantics. Don't know much about the history of the song--heard Pete Anderson's instrumental version, and finally got around to working it up. Nice tune--melody is very identifiable--can be sung either by male or obviously a female vocalist. Works well on acoustic, with the band--I use some reverb and lots of Bigsby (Gretsch 6120), and heavy reverb and a bit of slapback on the vocals. Gets a great crowd response.
