phil47uk Posted March 31, 2008 Share Posted March 31, 2008 Hi guys, I had a friend of mine in the States send me over a J180EC a couple of years back. Great guitar with a big jangly sound on stage. The nitro didn't like the UK much though and lifted and cracked round the heel, but that doesn't really worry me too much. What I really wanted to know, is although I have seen many of these models on- line in black, I have seen very few with this finish and the MOP stars , gold parts and crown headstock inlay. Was this only made for a limited period and if so when? And also, Is there any difference between the two other than cosmetic? Thanks , Phil.
