Riffster
So Gibsons have stock CTS pots, They look exactly like CTS same brass shaft, same casing, same terminals but branded Gibson. So since a lot of people say that Gibson pots are not as good, are they talking about the guts of the pot? or just a guitar tech trying to sell you the job? I went to a local store and they had CTS pots packaged as All-Parts brand, same casing but aluminum post, cheaper looking for sure. The volume superpot from RS is a different animal, different calibration on the inner resistor. So these are at least 4 kinds of CTS pots.
