Maikan Posted January 8, 2010 Share Posted January 8, 2010 Hi everyone, I just bought a 2008 J-160e and I wanted to buy an acoustic pickup to mix with the existing electric pickup already on the J-160e. However, even if it was not mentionned on any specs sheet I read, I notice that there's already an acoustic pickup (probably a piezzo) installed! I can plug a 1/4 cable in the strap button and in the standard J160e input. Does my guitar is modified or it is standard and it's just not mentionned? Thanks! Maikan Posted January 9, 2010 Author Share Posted January 9, 2010 I tried it and looked inside, and there is a piezzo located between the body and the bridge, so I can't see it.
