jjulch
I've noticed that Gibson may have increased the prices of their acoustical guitars. For instance, the Songwriter Deluxe Studio has gone from $2100 to $2400. Funny thing is the same guitar that was unsold two months ago at my local Guitar Center has a price increase? Musicians Friend has followed suite. Fender, Oviation, ESP, and many others are reducing prices so American's can afford their instruments. Not Gibson! House Prices- Down over 30% Household incomes- Down 20% Gibson Acoustic Guitars- Up 15% Has Gibson become the Big Oil of the Guitar industry? Everyone is making less then years before, yet Gibson thinks we can afford a price jump? Anyone else think this is crap?
davenumber2
Easy solution. Buy a nice USED Gibby. They are plentiful. But yes, it's disheartening.
