loomesk
hello there I have been in contact with a guy here regarding an ES-125 he is selling. I don' know much about these guitars other than that they look and sound amazing. i was wondering if anyone on here could tell me a little about them and possibly judge as to whether this particular guitar is genuine 9i have not seen one in a non-sunburst finish before), and also wether the money he is asking is reasonable? anyhoo, here is the ad, not many photos i'm afraid http://bristol.gumtree.com/bristol/45/52713545.html Thanks in advance for any info you can give me. regards

Haudenasaunee
I have a '57 ES-125 all original, it is the third one I've owned. The previous ones were another 57 and a 58. I love them, they are very under rated but don't tell anybody or the priced will go up. They seem to sell between 1500 and 1700 Canadian Dollars here That's about 879 -996 GPB. Gibsons seem to be priced much higher over there though, even so, having been refinished reduces the value by at least half. In Canada I'd say he'd be lucky to see $800 for that guitar.
