azfarrier
Just got my first guitar with a nitro finish. Does anyone know of a truly nitro safe stand or does it not really exist.
VillageIdiotUsingShampoo
I asked Gibson the same thing some time ago, they said i could keep it on a stand if i covered it in some thick linen, but the best way was of course to keep in the case which would protect it from dust and stuff too, though i guess your'e fine if the guitar stand has some kind of material covering the spots where your guitar will touch, mine was just rubber which would react with the nitrocellouse finish and leave ugly spots, so once again; best place to keep it is in the case. barry2001
Gator Cases and Fender makes a brief case stand that folds out and holds three guitars . The stand has the same material as the inside of your case . I have one and I love it .
ibis
I've been using Hercules stands for gigs for at least 5 years now with no problems. That said, my nitro finished guitars all live in cases when at home, unless there is work in progress and I'll pop one on a Hercules for a short while.
