Chiseen
I have an ES-359 black custom..... but the finish has recently started to crack along the grain on the back. I live in Hong Kong and it's very humid (99% rh) here except in winter when it's VERY dry. None of my other guitars have had the same problem. SG Epiphone Sheraton Fender Jag Is it normal for these guitars to develop a 'grain' in the finish? many thanks for your suggestions.
Chiseen
After a little digging, I believe this is known as 'Finish Checking'.. it's very mild but I can see that it will become more and more of a problem.. Should I keep it in a 'dry room'.. with a dehumidifier running all the time?
