Righter Posted March 1, 2010 Share Posted March 1, 2010 I just got my dark fire, and I'm sorry to be asking what might be a really stupid question Does the RIP Headphone output only produce sound when it's plugged into a PC? Or can I use it alone? I've tried plugging in the DF into the RIP and using the headphones to play, and I get no sound through them at all... skeeter Posted March 1, 2010 Share Posted March 1, 2010 You must first connect the RIP to a PC/Mac, run the RIP Console - unmute the Outputs, and set levels to your liking. then Power down, disconnect Firewire from computer - then re-power up the RIP, and now the RIP will work without a computer.
