drellis
I saw one last night in a different Cary shop if you're still looking...(Six Strings Cafe's shop) I thought that was a concert hall, not a music store.
drellis
Does anybody know what year Gibson starting making the J-45 TV with an adirondack top rather than sitka. I think it might have been 2008 but I'm not sure. I may have found a '07 J-45 TV for sale.
Dotneck
I thought that was a concert hall' date=' not a music store.[/quote'] It is a music venue...but they have a little guitar store in there too. Has an interesting selection of entry level insturments (recording king, tanglewood, eastman etc) but has some interesting used stuff too...the the J-45, some martins and some resonators. Also has some banjos and mandolins.... Its worth a look if you're in the area...
drellis
How does everyone feel about buying Gibsons on-line without having played the actual guitar you're buying? I ask that because I have read so many comments about Gibsons not being consistent. I keep hearing "play before you pay" and so forth. Unfortunately the only J-45 I was able to find like I want and at a good price is from a store in another state so it will have to be shipped to me. I'm just a little unsure what to do at this point...
eds111
I just saw Elderly has a sweet looking 2003 Original Jumbo. It looks like a cross between an Adi J45TV and a AJ.
ChrisA83
Think I'm right in saying they used adirondack in a limited 2008 'VOS' run, then changed the 'standard' TV line to use it in 2009. But within that I believe there are variations; still not 100% that mine is adirondack by looking at it
