aznxtasy341
Are the Samick Sheratons better than the newer ones? im talking about both a phyiscal and tonal point of view. this is what i see between the chinese sherrys and my 97 samick: -Samick Sheraton has smaller F holes -the Flower headstock inlay on my Samick has an obvious line through the flowers where the router cut through to shape it, where the chinese dont seem to have one -Chinese has white nut -chinese has grover kidney bean tuners -newer sheratons can fit standard tunomatic bridge measurements just wanted to know what you guys thought about this sorry, i know this is a repost from the old forum, but you just dont get results on that forum, and i posted it when this server was down.. Schtang
I have a 2006 Sherri and it is made in Korea. I maybe wrong, and someone here can enlighten me but I don't think the Sheraton II are made in China at all. I like the pickups better in the newer Sheraton from 2000 than the older models. I Never really like the older Sheratons at all, the newer ones in my opinions (so no one get angry please, it is just my thoughts) are much better. Here is my entire Guitar Collection. I am big on Gibson And Fender, the Sheraton is my only Epiphone. It stands up very well against the BIG TWO. I don't think I would buy any type of solidbody epiphone, but I do like their semi-hollow and hollow body guitars.
