boneyguy
Howdy Folks. I'm brand new here although I've been an Epi user for many years. I have a question I hope someone can answer for me fairly quickly. I put some mini-humbuckers in my Wildkat but now I want them out and I want to reinstall the original P90's. I'm looking for a wiring diagram because I'm not knowledgable enough to figure it out on my own. Thanks.
RotcanX
The pickups should attach directly to the two volumes. You can ignore the master volume since it is wired in after the switch. You'll find the schematic here: http://www.gibson.com/Files/schematics/Kat%20Series.PDF
boneyguy
Thanks RotcanX. Unfortunately I can't read that type of schematic. I need one of those 'realistic' type wiring diagrams where the electronics are drawn to look like the actual thing. You know what I mean?!! I'm electronically challenged I'm afraid. I do ok with soldering and getting things working but I need those simple diagrams. Also the master vol is going to be replaced because I used a push/pull put for splitting the mini humbuckers I'm taking out.
RotcanX
Looks like you're SOL then... but maybe you can find a suitable generic diagram on the Seymour Duncan site.
boneyguy
Hey RotcanX. Got what I needed from Deaf Eddie. Don't know if you already know about DE but he's a fountain of knowledge on all things guitar that concern guitar wiring. Thanks for your help. Take care.
