Raymond McVay
I would like to know what strings come on the hummingbird so I can purchase more, I really like their sound.
dubstar
I don't know how accurate or up to date this is: http://www.epiphone.com/images/StringGauges.pdf .
bshpmark
When I got my Dove I immediately put Elixer Nanoweb Lights on it and it made a huge difference. I also had it set up. I love how the Dove plays now although it played good right off the showroom floor. I would imagine the Dove had the same strings on it as the Hummingbird but I don't know what they were. Soupy1957
As you may have read in my other thread about strings on a Hummingbird, I just put the Medium Gauge Elixirs on it, as well as my EJ200. I can tell there is some set up needed on the Hummingbird, but I'm not sure how to approach it. I'm thinking I'll have to take some material off the bottom of the saddle, but I think the saddle may be glued in. As far as the sound is concerned, I had a very slight buzzing on the 6th string on the EJ200 until I put the Elixirs on, and the buzzing went away. On the Hummingbird, and the EJ200, the sound is terrific. -Soupy1957
