royals123
Hi all. I'm thinking of getting a Les Paul Standard but the one thing that's kept me away from a Les Paul is the top fret access. I was wondering if anyone had tried filing the heel away slightly to gain better access? I assume minor filing wouldn't interfere with the neck strength too much? Thanks James
Guest alanhindle
Any reason why you don't want an SG instead? Great tone and sustain with total upper fret access. Alan
pohatu771
Some Les Paul models actually have exactly what you want. I'm not sure if any Epiphone models do, though. Maybe the Ultra II. [EDIT] So far, this is the only model I've found that offers it: http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Gibson-Les-Paul-Axcess-Standard-Electric-Guitar?sku=531000
