ajstuart
Please help me regarding an Epiphone Coronet or Crestwood marked "Made in Japan" but with no serial number. The owner believes it is a Coronet MIJ that was produced only one year; however, the body seems to be a Crestwood. The neck is extremely unusual: It is maple with a skunkstripe and batwing head. Did Epiphone Japan produce a guitar with such a neck? Is the neck and lack of a serial number indicative of a guitar made from parts? Thanks. ajstuart
Please note that the following clarification: The maple neck has a small rosewood "v" insert at the head. The fret board is also maple. Thanks.
duane v
It's made in Korea (i think) but they are definately not made in Japan, or I would have bought one by now.... but they are sweet looking guitars.
