Steven Tari Posted January 2, 2009 Share Posted January 2, 2009 I've had this guitar since it first came out. I'm a Rhythm player and sometimes have to pick up Bass and Lead to fill in songs . I like a bassy sounding guitar when I play. I would like to know out of curiosity what was the origanal strings that came on it when it came from Epiphone. I've been playing D'AQUISTO 130 MED., Jazz signature,Flat wound Sleek Finish, .013/.056 Guitar strings. I bought about 30 sets when Mars music was going out of buissness. I can't seem to find these strings anymore. I'm down to 6 packs so I'm going to see why I left the org. strings and also look for a good replacement to use for my guitar. The other thing is I was doing a lot of playing and didn't clean it after everytime I used it, So the gold plating on the tuning keys have kinda worn away.
