EF 500 Truss Rod Adjustment - Where is it?

I picked up a new EF 500 RANS. I love this guitar. In looking it over, I can't see the truss rod adjustment nut. I know it must have a truss rod, but how do you get to it? I just see a wood brace where the truss nut usually resides. It seems strange if you have to remove the strings to get to it.

Thanks,

Dan

It's under the cover, on the headstock!! The cover should say "Masterbilt". The nut is 5/16"
