Svet Posted February 14, 2009 Share Posted February 14, 2009 Hey guys, I was visiting some family out in PA the last couple of days and we decided to take the free tour at the Martin factory in Nazareth. It really was fascinating to watch and learn about the whole process and couldn't help but wish I was able to visit all of our beloved Guitar Manufactures factories. It sure would be interesting! (However, it was a little like taking a tour of the restaurant's kitchen. Sometimes you shouldn't ask how the food is prepared.) Martin has always struck me as an "odd duck" of a company, though. On the one hand they make some of the finest playing and most beautiful acoustic guitars, while on the other they proudly make guitars out of Formica. Certainly a contradiction!
