SCRUBS
Not sure exactly where to put this, but i have a question on an Epi Les Paul i found for sale. The owner says the back of the head stock is stamped "used" FROM the factory because it has a blemish, is this true? Or is this one of the many fakes that are floating around? I have never heard of such a thing. Thanks for any help clearing this up.
SlagJones
There is such a thing. Factory B-stocks are sold all over the place. Though I don't know why a counterfeiter would stamp it used. Seems counter-intuitive.
Ron G
The ones stamped "used" are true factory rejects, sold to 3rd party "refurbishers'. They are not the same as true factory seconds, which are stamped "2ND" on the headstock, fully warranted by Gibson and are purported to have no playability issues as sold.
