alexinchains78
Some years ago I received an old broken Epiphone Explorer from a my parents friend. I repaired it and it sound very good. It has a comfortable and very slim neck. It seems, from the information I've gotten, a mid-'70s made guitar...but I'm not sure. On the headstock there's the logo "Epiphone by Gibson", but no serial number and no "made in..." sticker. I'd like to know, if it's possible, WHERE and WHEN this Epi Explorer was made. The color of the headstock it's original, while the body was repainted. Please help! Thank you P.S. it's my first time in this forum. how can I post some pics? animalfarm
Welcome to the forum, from Italy? It's a small world on the 'net... You'll use a "photo-sharing site" such as Photobucket (there is another, but I can't think of it), I use Photobucket. 1. Go to http://photobucket.com/ . 2. Join the site, free, just follow instructions. 3. After joining site, log onto site, which will take you to main screen with "upload images and video" in the top center of screen. 4. (At this point it's assumed you have pictures in the "my pictures" folder in your computer) 5. Look for words "old uploader", click on it. A new screen will appear that has "browse" on 3 lines, and the box saying "UPLOAD" at bottom. Click on the first/top "browse" box. 6. A new smaller screen will appear over the one you're on that shows "your computer". Click, open, click, open until you reach the "my pictures" folder. (will actually show your pictures if thumbnail view is selected before heading off to photobucket to sign up) 7. Click on the first picture you want to upload, then click "open". The smaller screen will disappear, and you will now see a "checkmark" and something (your picture) inserted in the line that says "browse" on the photobucket page. 8. You can select multiple photos by clicking another "browse", doing same process. 9. Click "upload", screen will eventually say "upload complete", then magically, there will now be a picture below the upload section in YOUR photobucket album. 10. Go back to EPI forum, start posting message, then click on small icon at top of epi screen that looks like Picture of Mountain (insert image), in your text the words [img/IMG] will appear. 11. Go back to photobucket screen, scroll down to image you wish to insert, put pointer on it, a drop down screen will appear with the bottom box showing "IMG Code". 12. Put pointer on that box, left click once, small yellow box will appear that says "copied". 13. Go back to EPI POST, beside the "img/img" in your in-progess post will be the flashing cursor. Right-click, put pointer on "paste", left-click. You'll see that a line of text has been addes describing your image (it's in the post now). 14. Add more if wanted, but try with one first to get hang of it, reeeellllyyy easy, actually. 15. Click "post" box at bottom of epi screen, done. If mistake made, you can go to your now posted message, click "edit", fix problem, post again.
