Well, it turns out I'm not a goth and could not stand the pickguard, so I had to paint it. I love gold on black themes, and am pretty happy with how this turned out and thought I'd share- I used krylon fusion as primer, worked fantastic. Then used some gold auto spray paint from autozone.
