gtrtech Posted July 4, 2008 Share Posted July 4, 2008 A friend of mine brought me his Studio saying it was feeding back real bad & asked me to change out the pickups. At first glance I thought they where Iomis because of the covers with no pole pieces. after getting them out I found that the covers where just placed on top. no solder or potting. I figured that could have been the cause of the problem. Now I'm tying to figure out what pickups these are. they both have the Gibson logo and a T on the backplate ad are single wire w/ground. The one from the bridge ohms out at 15.42 and the neck ohms out at 6.67. Anyone have any ideas? Gibson used to have a page with the ohm ratings but I can't find that now.
