DamienMarcello
I bought this guitar at a yard sale today: No clue what it is. Needs a bridge and a locking nut, so tells me it's a tremolo, possibly Floyd Rose? Headstock says Epiphone by Gibson. Serial number is 880400244 Can anybody shed any light on what this is? DamienMarcello
http://www.robwesley.com/guitars/Epiphone%20S-600%20Custom%20black%201988.jpg Thanks for your imput, I found a list of 80's S models, and it seems to look closest to this 1988 S-600 Custom, but the knobs are different. Here is some information about the trem http://www.meissner-dokuteam.de/Files/Steinberger_KB_Trem_01_small.pdf Peter [/quote']No. This is an S-500 I believe that might be an S-600. The best way to find out is to email Gibson with pics/serial #. They should be able to give you some better info.
RobinTheHood
Its a Pro model (super strat) of some sort. The trem routing is for a Steinberger bridge. The horns are pretty weird. Never seen them like that on an Epi.
